I grew up swimming most of my life and got the opportunity to swim competitively for several years. I’ve had to swim in various pools throughout that time, but I’ve always had my least favorites. I noticed some pools irritated my skin, smelled terrible, and some were so murky you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool! My friends and family infamously knew me to smell like horrible chlorine every day after training. I knew something with the water wasn’t right. Around the same time, my uncle asked me to take care of his pool while I had no experience. As I began studying pools, I started understanding what caused all these things I hated. After caring for his pool for a while, I enjoyed perfecting the water. I started taking care of the neighbor's pools and soon their friends' pools as well. Everyone seemed to love the work I did! I started SkyBlue Pools and have been perfecting my knowledge and skills in the pool work for many years since then. Having started as a swimmer, I know what every swimmer wants; that's a healthy, crystal-clear, SkyBlue pool!
